About the E-learning IMDG code Awareness course (Russian)

The personnel involved in the transport of dangerous goods by sea must be trained in the content of the dangerous goods regulations according to their responsibility. Employees shall be trained in accordance with the provisions of 1.3.1 before taking on tasks. According to the IMDG code, staff must have at least one IMDG awareness certificate. This IMDG code e-learning can be followed 24/7.

The IMDG Awareness Course (Amendment 42-24) is the IMDG training in e-learning for general maritime personnel such as clerks, administrators, account managers and anyone who needs knowledge of the IMDG Code and Dangerous Goods Transport requirements. This course provides appropriate knowledge for personnel that may not be covered by the role-specific courses. This course is designed to meet the training requirements of the IMDG Code.

The online course consists of two modules:

• Module 1: The IMO, conventions, legal – and international requirements
• Module 2: General provisions, classes, packing groups and safety

Preparatory training
No preparatory training is required. This is a basic dangerous goods course that anyone who works with it can successfully complete. Therefore we have not given a recommended time for the course.

Access to the Course
After placing your order and completing the payment, you will receive the access code to the SafetyNet Academy course within 24 hours (weekdays) via email. If you are ordering for someone else or enrolling multiple participants, please enter the names (first name and last name) and email address of each participant in the Memo field of your order. You can also email the participants’ details after placing the order and attach an Excel file. If there are multiple participants, a group account will be created so you can track their progress via a Dashboard.

Certificate and Duration
The Awareness Course concludes with a multiple-choice test. With a score of 70% or more, the participant receives the E-Learning IMDG Awareness Course certificate. The course lasts around 2 hours depending on how much time you put in. We recommend that you go through all modules at least twice to retain knowledge.

Delivered under the globally recognised IFCL5051 standard of www.chemical-logistics.org and strictly following the IMDG Code as mandated by the International Maritime Organization, this course guarantees the highest level of compliance and expertise.
